Are You a Traveler?

The definition of a traveler has changed over time but it typically still describes someone who is traveling. A traveler can be on a business trip, visiting friends or family, or even on a vacation. However, it is safe to say that anyone who is going on an extended vacation or travels frequently will fit into the definition as a traveler. Whether you are just visiting your current home or going to another country for the first time, the term traveler will fit you.

In order to better determine whether you would be considered a traveler or not you will need to look at how you normally do things. If you shop by category then you will have a better idea of what activities you would be involved in while on vacation. For instance, if you shop with your debit card at a department store then you most likely are a traveler since you use your cards at many places. However, if you shop at a gas station then you may not be a traveler since you do not use your cards at any place that is common for travelers.

Another way that you will be able to determine whether you are a traveler or not is by looking at your habits. If you always carry cash with you then you are most likely a traveler since you will be traveling from place to place with cash. On the other hand, if you carry a checkbook but seldom use it then you probably are not a traveler because you would not travel with cash. There are a number of other ways you can determine whether you are a traveler or not including the way you spend money. If you use traveler checks rather than debit card checks for most of your purchases and if you don’t carry large sums of money with you then you will be considered to be a traveler.
